| NCAAB: Final Four MVP Tyler Hansbrough is the favorite but you’ll find plenty of other value in our Final Four MVP odds. The Final Four MVP is just one of the many proposition odds available for Saturday’s historic matchups. Visit Sportsbook.com here for the entire list. Tyler Hansbrough - UNC (2:1) Hansbrough is perhaps the hardest working player in the country with a talent level not far behind. He took over the Elite Eight game against Louisville down the stretch and had 28 points in all. It’s those kinds of efforts that have made him the favorite to win MVP. Kevin Love - UCLA (7:2) Love is being compared to past great UCLA big men like Lew Alcindor (later known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) and Bill Walton. He shows remarkable poise for a freshman and he has backed up his immense ability with 21.7 PPG and 11.0 RPG tournament averages. Derrick Rose - Memphis (4:1) Rose is another talented freshman, and he is likely headed to the NBA at the end of the season. Rose’ points, rebounds and assists have all risen during the tournament, and the sky is the limit in terms of his performance during the Final Four. Darren Collison - UCLA (7:1) Collison has been up-and down in this tournament including scoring just four points against Western Kentucky in the Sweet Sixteen round. He did rebound against Xavier in the next round, scoring 19 points, but these odds seem optimistic. Chris Douglas-Roberts - Memphis (7:1) Douglas-Roberts could be the most unsung superstar in college basketball. He scored 25 points in each of the last two tournament games against Michigan State and Texas. These odds look very enticing, providing more value than his teammate Rose. Ty Lawson - UNC (10:1) Lawson is the lightning-quick point guard who gets the Tar Heels off and running in their fast break offense. The problems with his MVP chances are that he rarely shoots more than 10 times in a game and he is almost always overshadowed by Hansbrough. Wayne Ellington - UNC (10:1) Ellington is a very underrated player for North Carolina, much like Russell Westbrook is for UCLA. Ellington didn’t shoot the ball well in the last two games of the tournament (33% from the field) but chances are he improves greatly this weekend. Mario Chalmers - Kansas (10:1) The highest MVP odds for a Kansas player is just 10:1, and a lot of that is due to the fact that Kansas has a balanced offensive attack. Chalmers though, has been the Jayhawks’ best player in this postseason and he doesn’t seem afraid of the moment. Brandon Rush - Kansas (15:1) Rush was the leading scorer for Kansas during the regular season, but he has struggled some in the postseason including a 4-14 performance against Davidson in their Elite Eight win. Rush is capable of getting hot this weekend and Kansas is going to need it.
