NCAA-B | Jan 27 - Texas vs. Baylor Baylor
Play: Baylor -1
Widow’s CBB Free Pick for Tuesday: 1* on Baylor -1
This is a statement game for Baylor as they prove they belong with the elite in the Big 12 Conference. Both the Longhorns and Bears enter this game with similar records, as Texas is 14-4 and Baylor is 15-4. Home court has treated the Bears very nicely this season, as Baylor is 11-1 at home, winning by 21.1 points per game. The Bears are scoring a ridiculous 87.4 points per game on their home court. All 4 of the Longhorns’ losses have come on the road this season, where they are 5-4. Baylor’s only home loss came against a very good South Carolina team by a final of 84-85 for a 1-point setback. The last 5 meetings between the Bears and Longhorns were decided by 8 points or less, with Texas winning every time. 4 of those 5 meetings were decided by 5 points or less. So Baylor has been close to pulling off the upset, but they just haven’t quite been able to get over the hump. We feel they have the team to get the job done this year, and so do the linesmakers as they’ve listed the Bears as a small favorite. Baylor is 6-0 ATS (+6.0 Units) versus teams who average 40 or more rebounds/game on the season after 15+games over the last 3 seasons.
Take Baylor and lay the points.
