Less than a month ago Danica Patrick became the first woman to win an Indy Car race at the Japan 300. Does she have the enough drive to win the Indy 500?

I don't usually follow Nascar...I leave that to my brother-in-law to enjoy. But I saw the footage replayed from Sunday. All that hype, all that publicity, to be taken out so close to the finish.

Do they know why her car was running so slow anyway? She was in 7th before the crash. Her anger is going to fuel some serious performance in upcoming races.

Still, a lot of hype and it sucks that she lost. They had high hopes for her. My brother-in-law must have talked about it for an hour, rehashing it...probably longer.

I watch a lot of the Indy races and I was rooting for Danica to take it home. I was so disappointed when she got taken out, lost 100 bucks on that one

ouch. If I followed it I would have had my money on her from what I've read after-the-fact. My brother-in-law lost $200. I think I'll stick to the sports I know to lose my money on.

I don't follow the Indy car circuit either, so I didn't place any cash on anyone. A friend of mine is still crying over the 500 dollars that he lost. He tought he was clever by putting in 500 because its called Indy 500

I don't know how many times I've heard people saying they would put in 500 because of that, and I laugh everytime - until one of them actually wins something.

I have a lot of respect for Danica to get out there in a "man's sport" and really hand the guys their own rears. She's got a lot of spunk.

Personally, I pay more attention to Nascar than the Indy races. I've never been to an Indy race, maybe that's why. I like to be there to really get into it.
