Calzaghe vs. Hopkins Odds in Bodog Sportsbook

Current world super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe (44-0, 32 KO's) is ready to take on boxing legend Bernard Hopkins (48-4-1, 32 KO's), April 19 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Odds for the fight are now online in the Bodog Sportsbook. Currently, Calzaghe is the -250 favorite, while Hopkins is the +190 underdog.

The match got early media attention in December of last year when Hopkins and Calzaghe met face to face at the press conference for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Ricky Hatton fight. After the two began shouting insults at each other, Hopkins yelled "You're not even in my league! I would never let a white boy beat me. I couldn't go back to the projects if I let a white boy beat me."

He later explained the comments were not meant to be racial slurs, and instead were meant to promote the fight.

Boxing's longest reigning current world champion, Calzaghe spoke to fans and the media on Monday, after arriving in Las Vegas from his home in Newbridge, Wales.

"I feel great," he said. "I'm 100% confident that I will win on Saturday night. If you compare our records you will see that I have faced better opposition than Hopkins. He talks a bigger game than he fights. He's a Saint Bernard, all bark and no bite. All of his blathering sounds like he's trying to convince himself he can beat me, not head games or intimidation. He'll be leaving the ring with his tail between his legs after I've put him through his paces."
