UFC: Ultimate Fighter

The 7th season of the wildly popular UFC: The Ultimate Fighter ends this Saturday evening and as always, Sportsbook.com has all the odds for the 11 fight card.

A six figure UFC contract is up for grabs as C.B. Dollaway (-185) will look to avenge his earlier loss to Amir Sadollah (+155). In case you were wondering, Dollaway is fighting in the finals thanks to the antics of fellow TUF competitor Jesse Taylor.

With a spot in the finale locked up, Taylor went on a drunken rampage through a Vegas casino which included kicking out a limousine window, and it prompted UFC President Dana White to give Taylor the boot. Dollaway earned a rematch with Sadollah after defeating fellow semi-finalist Tim Credeur in an impromptu bout to decide Taylor’s replacement.

Former TUF champions Diego Sanchez and Kendall Grove also make their respective returns to the octagon. Considered one of the better fighters in the welterweight division, Sanchez (-500) is the heavy favorite as he takes on striker Luigi Fioravanti (+300).

This match will come down to whether they remain on their feet or head to the mat. With some outstanding Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling skills, Sanchez will look to take it to the ground quickly. However, don’t be surprised if he decides to stand with Fioravanti and exchange blows as he enjoys showing off his underrated striking skills.

The other former TUF champ Kendall Grove (+160) will look to get back into the win column as he takes on former UFC middleweight champion Evan Tanner (-200). Making his first appearance back in January of 1999 at UFC 18, the 37 year-old Tanner has fought plenty of household names in the MMA community.

The outcome of this fight could go a long way in determining whether Tanner will continue to garner serious interest from UFC fans or whether he will be relegated to future undercards. The 6’6” Grove is coming off two 1st Round TKO losses, so this fight is without a doubt the most important of his young career.
