A little while back, during a conference call to promote the fight between Kimbo Slice and "Tank" Abbott, Elite XC president Gary Shaw went on a rant about the UFC and its president Dana White. Essentially, he called White an egomaniacal jackass and said that, contrary to popular opinion, the UFC doesn't have all the best fighters in the world. In fact, he even said that he'd be willing to match his best guys from Elite XC against White's best fighters on any day of the week. He also added that until UFC champions are allowed to fight outside of the octagon, they'll be nothing more than "club champs."
