In poker this happens alot, not just to me alot. You make a play against your instincts, but you end up giving the opponent a bad beat. It is a horrible feeling when it doesn't go your way though. So don't go all in preflop with AK in a cash game because someone re-raises you twice! See the flop, cause they just might have AA
Yeah it happened to me in Vegas last time. It's ashame cause I was up over 3x my buy in and he had me covered. |
Ouch. That's a horrible beat X_X. Worst one that happened to me was I had trip aces on the turn, went all in. Hand was A/J suited. Turns out that my buddy had A/10offsuit and had trips as well, so he called. The only card that could've saved him was a 10... and guess what showed up. X_X.
