Week 9 DFS Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings – Fan Duel
Week 9 of the NFL season is almost here – time to start thinking about locking in those lineups for the upcoming week. Tight Ends have been difference makers all season lone – Gronkowski and Olsen owners know exactly what I mean.

To have a top tier guy is a luxury – the second and third tiers of Tight Ends continue to be a mystery!
So which Fantasy Tight Ends can we trust to put up some serious numbers this week. Let’s take a look in the Week 9 top 5 Tight End plays.
1.Rob Gronkowski, Patriots
Gronk may be the best player in the NFL so he absolutely has to be at the top of the Tight End must-play list. He is a huge part of the best offense in the game right now and has the full trust of the best QB in the game.

He has four-100+ yard games already to go along with 7 TDs this year – expect him to produce right around his average again this week against the Washington Redskins – 100 yards and a TD makes him #1 again!
2.Greg Olsen, Panthers
Olsen remains Cam Newton’s most trusted pass catcher – another 6 catches for 79 yards and a TD last week. This week he should be heavily used again against the Green Bay Packers Olsen will get 10-12 targets and get his yards and a TD this week.

He absolutely has to if the Panthers hope to remain one of the most unforeseen 7-0 teams in recent memory!
3.Benjamin Watson, Saints
It took a while for Drew Brees to rediscover his love of the Tight End (LOL) but now that he has there seems like there is no stopping Ben Watson. He has at least nine catches in each of his last two home games and has a TD in both – enough said.
6 grabs, 80 yards and a TD is very realistic for Watson!
4.Delanie Walker, Titans
Walker is the most reliable receiver on the Titans – period and should benefit from the return of Marcus Mariota to the lineup. Walker was OK with Tennessee’s backup QB but he is much more a main part of the offense with Mariota at the helm.

He has just one score so far this year but has been around the 60 yard mark consistently – I like him to hit that mark again and to score along the way as well.
5.Martellus Bennett, Bears
Bennett will be arguably the biggest beneficiary from the absence of Matt Forte. Bennett becomes THE third down threat. He has been generally good all season long but has a real chance to step up this week.
My bet is 6-8 catches for about 80 yards and a TD – easily top 5 for the week.
