Dave B’s Fantasy 9 RB Rankings – DFS
Week 9 of the Fantasy Football season is upon us – the running back position certainly took some hits last week with the season-ending injury of Le’ Veon Bell! But there are still some sure-fire matchups this week for you to wrap your heads around.

Gurley and Freeman are every-week starters – easily top 5 every game but the remaining three are part of a revolving door based on matchup!
With that in mind who should we keep our eyes on this week? Here are the top 5 RB plays of Week 9.
1. Todd Gurley, Rams
No reason to cool your expectations on Gurley – he has been absolutely remarkable – he has rushed for more than 120 yards in every game and scored three times in his four career starts and leads the league in 40+ yard plays.

Add in his receiving prowess out of the backfield and Gurley is an absolute monster! I am expecting another 120 yards on the ground against Minnesota this week with a TD and 3-4 catches for 25-40 yards as well. For those of you who took a chance on this kid – congrats!
2.Devonta Freeman, Falcons
Freeman and the Falcons get the reeling 49ers this week – cha ching! He does come off his worst game in some time – 88 yards on the ground and 46 yards receiving on 6 catches (ya – that’s bad for him!!!) but Freeman has topped 100 yards rushing in all three road games this year.

Against the 49ers he is a virtual lock to do the same – it’s a game that Atlanta should absolutely control! 120 yards and a TD on the ground to go along with another 6 catches for 40 yards is where I see Freeman in this one – good enough for #2 on this week’s list.
3.Doug Martin, Buccaneers
Didn’t expect to see Doug Martin on this list? Me neither! But you can’t argue with the numbers! He has topped 100 yards in three of his last four games, although he did have just 71 last week against Atlanta.
This week Martin and the Bucs get a soft Giants defense that allowed the Saints to do whatever they wanted last week. I’m riding Martin while he’s Hot – another 100 yards and a score on the ground and 3-4 grabs for 40 yards through the air is right about where I see him ending up this week.
4.Mark Ingram, Saints
Khiry Robinson broke his leg last week which means even more touches for Ingram this week against a woeful Tennessee defense. Ingram is one of the leading rushers in the NFL and has five TDs already on the year.
I am expecting 20+ touches for Ingram this week in Robinson’s absence and for him to produce with his increased touches. 100 yards and a score to go along with 4 catches and 40 yards through the air is what I see.
5.Chris Ivory, Jets
Ivory hasn’t been great the last two weeks but gets a crack at the Jacksonville Jaguars this week – nothing snaps a slump like the lowly Jags!

He had 41 yards against the Pats and 17 yards last week against the Raiders – yuk. But despite the unflattering numbers Ivory is still getting his touches – 20+ per week and has been catching passes in his last few games as well.
Against Jacksonville it could be a Fantasy Bonanza! 100 yards and a TD on the ground to go along with 3 catches for 25 yards is not unreasonable here!
