The Falcons play the Bucs, the Texans play the Titans and Ben Roethlisberger likely returns to action this week. It should mean a Fantasy Bonanza for a few.
So which Stud Receivers can we trust to take us to the promise land this week? Let’s take a look at the top 5 Week 8 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver plays.
1. Antonio Brown, Steelers
Yippeee! Ben Roethlisberger is back – nobody will be happier than Antonio Brown who went over 100 yards in each of the two games Big Ben played. Brown is a stud and is due for a monster week after suffering through weeks of Michael Vick and Landry Jones. I see Brown getting 10 catches this week with 125+ yards and a TD. Welcome back to Fantasy prominence Antonio!

2. DeAndre Hopkins, Texans
Is a lock again for 10-12 targets and with Arian Foster out of the mix Hopkins may be called upon to play more of a role in the offense. He had a down Week 7 but against the Titans unspectacular pass defense he should feast. Hopkins is a producer pure and simple and his matchup this week is mouth watering to say the least.
3. Julio Jones, Falcons
I admit – I am a little worried about Matt Ryan and I’m a bit tired of “average Julio Jones”.

He has to bust out this week – against a Bucs defense that has allowed the second most TDs in the NFL.
Jones is still the league’s #2 receiver despite not being a game changer lately. He hasn’t cracked the 100 yard mark since Week 3 – my guess is that streak ends this week and that Jones goes over 100 yards with a TD.
4. Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals
Fitzgerald is coming off a down week but like most in the top 5 he has an easy matchup – the Browns aren’t exactly world beaters in their pass D. Fitz had just 39 yards receiving last week and is due for a bounce back game.
John Brown and Michael Floyd look like their vulturing from Larry right now – my guess is that it only takes some pressure off Fitzgerald who goes off – 100 yards and a TD this week.

5. Keenan Allen, Chargers
Philip Rivers is on some sort of tear right now – he has gone over 330 yards in his last three games! The main beneficiary is Allen who is seeing a ton of targets and is getting results. He has three games with over 130 yards receiving and he leads the league in receptions. He is a lock for 12 targets, 115 yards and a TD maybe 2 this week – upside for sure.
