Which Studs are locks for a big week? Let’s take a look at the top 5 Fantasy Quarterback plays for Week 7.
1. Carson Palmer, Cardinals
vs. Baltimore Ravens
Ahhhh, the Baltimore Ravens at home on Monday night – should be a big game for Carson Palmer. He has passed for over 300 yards in four of six games this year and has gone over 300 in three home games. Expect that to continue Monday.

The Ravens secondary has been dreadful. Carson and the Cards are due for a huge bounce back after last week’s loss – on National TV, I like them to get it. It should be yet another monster game for Carson indeed. He’s as safe as they come right now and my #1 this week.
2. Philip Rivers, Chargers
vs. Oakland Raiders
Has been scorching as of late and off a 500+ yard performance against the Patriots absolutely has to be in the top 5 this week. He has over 350 yards passing in three straight games and has tosses seven TDs over that span.
Keenan Allen has been terrific and Antonio Gates should have a monster game this week as well. I like Rivers to eclipse 350 yards again this week and to toss 2-3 TDs along the way against an OK but certainly susceptible Raiders secondary – good for the #2 spot in my eyes.
3. Andrew Luck, Colts
vs. NO Saints
Something tells me that a breakout of major proportions is imminent for Andrew Luck – against a sketchy New Orleans secondary is a good spot. Luck threw for 312 yards and 3 TDs last week against the Patriots in his return from injury and should be able to duplicate that this week.

Luck was the #1 Fantasy QB off the boards this year for a reason – he’s finally starting to pay his owners off.
4. Tom Brady, Patriots
vs. NY Jets
The Jets always play Brady tough and this week could be more of the same. But Brady is out to make a serious statement this year – I don’t think any team will be able to slow him down!
He has 14 TDs in five games this year and has yet to pass for less than 275 yards – as dependable a guy as there has been in Fantasy this year. Brady is a machine – 280-300 yards and 2-3 TDs is almost a guarantee this week – obvious top 5 numbers as we head into Week 7!
5. Drew Brees, Saints
vs. Indianapolis Colts
This game has the potential to become the shootout of the week – Brees should be in line for a big week! He has gone over 300 yards three straight weeks and now gets to face a secondary that has been less-than-spectacular all season long.

He hasn’t been responsible for a ton of TDs but all the yardage he’s getting will pay off sooner than later. With an Indy defense that generates little pressure, expect Brees to be able to operate with little threat and to have success in this week’s most intriguing game.
