So which Defenses can we count on to carry us past this round of the Fantasy playoffs? Let’s take a peek at the top 5 Fantasy Football D/ST plays for Week 15 of the NFL season.
1. New England
The Patriots keep getting it done on defense and get a crack at arguably the worst team in the NFL this week – Tennessee. The Titans come into Foxborough having won just three times all season long – not good. Marcus Mariota is expected to struggle – he has done so all season long against top tier defenses.

Bill Belichick has been a master of taking away his opposing team’s biggest threat – everyone including Delanie Walker will have a tough time Sunday as the Pats harass the rookie QB, force a few mistakes and hold the Titans under 10 points. It should be a good day for the Pats indeed starting with the D.
2. N.Y. Jets
The Jets get the Dallas Cowboys this week and every defense has looked tremendous against Matt Cassel and crew! With Darrelle Revis back to form, it is hard to imagine anyone in the passing game finding any sort of success. With New York’s elite run-stopping it is difficult to fathom Darren McFadden finding any room either. Dallas has turned the ball over 23 times this year – expect more of the same this week as Dallas forces the ball just to stay in this game. The Dallas offense is bad folks and the Jets defense is very good. It all adds up to a huge game for the Jets as they further their push for a playoff spot and send Dallas home with their tails between their legs.

3. Seattle
The Seahawks get a pretty bad Cleveland team this week in the Pacific Northwest. It is a truly terrible matchup for the Browns – a terrific one for the Seahawks. Johnny Manzeil will definitely learn a lesson or two this week, his running game will likely struggle to find any room and his receivers will almost definitely be locked down. It wouldn’t be a shock to see a shutout in this game – it’s that much of a mismatch!
4. Cincinnati
The Bengals defense have been good all season long and with the injury to Andy Dalton will have to be extra special down the stretch. I think they are up to the challenge especially against a bad 49ers offense. Blaine Gabbert has been OK so far but faces his toughest challenge to date, Shaun Draughn will likely be taken out because of game flow and the San Francisco receivers will only be as good as their quarterback. The Bengals are top 10 in almost every statistical category this season and should own what has been a bad SF offense.
5. Kansas City
The Chiefs have the pleasure of playing the banged-up Ravens this week – Jimmy Clausen will be the starting QB, Javorious Allen, who is coming off an eight carry, 14 yard effort at Seattle will be running the ball and Kamar Aiken, Jeremy Butler and Chris Givens will be catching passes from Clausen.

Simply put the Baltimore offense could be one of the worst assembled in quite some time. KC’s defense has been very strong as of late and should only pad their numbers against the brutal Ravens.
