To have a top Tight End is certainly a luxury – the difference between a top 5 option and one that sits in the 6-10 range is enormous. So who are the top 5 Tight End plays in Week 10? Let’s take a look.
1.Rob Gronkowksi, Patriots
The Giants defense has allowed the second most Fantasy points to opposing Tight Ends – yikes! Gronk has gone over 100 yards in two of his last three games and will be out to avenge his worst performance in some time – just 47 yards last week.

It wouldn’t be a shock to see the Pats score 50 points this week with Gronkowski getting his share. Enjoy the 100+ yards and 2TDs this week Gronk owners!
2.Jordan Reed, Redskins
The Saints have allowed 24 passing TDs already this year – 24! Any time Reed is on the field, he is a threat to score – he gets a crack at a New Orleans defense that allowed 3 TDs to Tight Ends last week. Sunday’s game has all the makings of a shootout – Washington is going to have to score points to keep up. I am expecting close to 100 yards and a TD from Reed this week at least – good for top 3 numbers.
3.Delanie Walker, Titans
Walker had 7 catches for 95 yards and 2 TDs last week but takes on a much more stout Carolina defense this week. That said Carolina’s defensive weakness has been against Tight Ends.

It should be tough sledding for Marcus Mariota and the Titans this week – his security blanket Walker will likely be heavily involved. Walker is good for 60+ yards every week – I think he eclipses that with 70-80 yards and a TD on 7-8 catches.
4.Tyler Eifert, Bengals
Not sold on Tyler Eifert? If not, you didn’t watch last week’s game in which he scored three times. Eifert is the unquestioned Red Zone threat – Cincinnati should get their share of Re Zone opportunities against Houston’s defense. He has nine TDs in eight games this year and has scored six time in his four home games this year. Eifert has been money all season long – no reason to overthink this one!
5.Greg Olsen, Panthers
Has five TDs in his last four games and is the unquestioned #1 target for Can Newton against a very beatable Tennessee defense.

The Titans have allowed six TDs to Tight Ends so far and they have yet to face anyone like Olsen. Olsen is an absolute beast and an automatic top 5 Tight End option every week. 6-8 catches for 80 or so yards and a TD is almost guaranteed for Olsen this week – good enough for top 5.
