Kentucky has pretty much cruised in the eight games since suffering its first and only loss of the season at South Carolina. The two exceptions however were against Mississippi St. and Vanderbilt and like this one, both of those were on the road. The Wildcats were fortunate to win both of those games and they came home and laid some payback on the Gamecocks by 21 points on Thursday.

In this game we’d have to attribute more “incentive” to the Texas side, since, after all, they are in a position where they are virtually assured of a spot in the BCS title game if they win their last two games – this one and the Big 12 championship against Nebraska. Texas A&M, in its second season under coach Mike Sherman, has become bowl-eligible, the result of a 38-3 win over Baylor this past weekend, to give them six wins on the year (with a 5-5-1 record in the college football sportsbook).
The Texas Longhorns (17-7 SU, 9-12 ATS, 10-11 O/U) outscored Colorado 13-4 in overtime to walk away with an 85-76 victory on Saturday. Texas failed to cover the spread in the BetUS Sportsbook as an 11-point spread while the combined score sailed OVER the posted O/U total of 127 points.
