It’s the battle for Louisiana as the Tulane Green Wave will play in their home stadium versus the UL-Lafayette Rajin’ Cajuns as they will try and win the New Orleans Bowl for a third straight year.
While their records look similar on the surface, the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns are 3-0 in Sun Belt play, with six consecutive wins overall, while the Troy Trojans are 3-2. As such, the Ragin’ Cajuns enter this contest as 12.5-point favorites.
The Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns will travel to the Bluegrass State to take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in a Tuesday evening affair. The game will have major implications in the Sun Belt standings.
Barring any non-conference craziness I feel it is safe to say that the Sun Belt will be the least talked about conference in college football this year. They have only 8 teams after having lost some programs to Conference USA (WHY?) and the teams that remain are far from the national spotlight.
