The Clippers are 39-28-1 ATS with an O/U record of 36-31-1 and the Nuggets are 29-37 ATS with an O/U record of 33-33. This season the Nuggets are 16-16 at home and the Clippers are 19-15 on the road.
The Dallas Mavericks will make the trip over to the Pepsi Center for a visit with the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday. The Mavericks have lost back-to-back games after winning 10 of 12, while the Nuggets have been mired in a free-fall, losing six in a row and 11 of their last 12.
This is going to be a tough spot for the Nets as they are in the middle of a lengthy road trip and will have played a very fast paced Portland team the night before.
You can ignore the result against Milwaukee yesterday this Denver team is just not all that good this season.
Denver Nuggets vs. Indiana Pacers NBA Betting Odds
The Indiana Pacers own the NBA’s best record entering their game with the Denver Nuggets, and while they’re going to be the favorites in most matchups the rest of the season, this should be a classic case of offense versus defense.
The first Wednesday in February is loaded with opportunities to bet on the NBA, but I have narrowed down my plays to a pair of contests that come together perfectly to form this week’s ‘NBA Wednesday Parlay’.
This season the Jazz are 7-11 at home and the Nuggets are 8-9 on the road. The Nuggets are 19-17 ATS with an O/U record of 16-20 and the Jazz are 12-26 ATS with an O/U record of 18-20.
The NBA kicks off the New Year with five matchups on Wednesday’s slate.
The Denver Nuggets host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night in what should be an entertaining affair. Oklahoma City has scored 110.6 points per game in their last eight meetings with Denver, while the Nuggets have countered with an average of 108.0 points in those eight games.
The Washington Wizards look to continue their turnaround against a streaking Denver Nuggets team that will make the trip out to the Verizon Center for a clash on Monday night.
The Chicago Bulls may have begun the 2013-14 NBA season in underwhelming fashion, but they’ve reeled off five straight wins to bring them to 6-3 on the year. The caveat here is that four of the five wins have been against teams that will be out of the playoffs or fighting for a late seed.
The Timberwolves are one of the early surprise teams this season with a very good 6-3 start. I wouldn’t have thought this would be the case but they are the second highest scoring team in the league and had a really nice win against Oklahoma State in the first week that said this is a team to be reckoned with.
The Nuggets have not gotten off to a good start this season. The are 1-4 and just lost at Phoenix who is pretty bad in their own right. In this one they get a chance to play a Utah team that is the worst in the league.
There is going to be a different flavour to things in Denver this season with George Karl out at coach. In is Brian Shaw, who has been well schooled in the Phil Jackson way of the force but has no head coaching experience.
The Denver Nuggets began their season with three straight losses, but they’ve begun to turn it around with back-to-back wins against the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets. The Utah Jazz started 2012 with a win over the Dallas Mavericks, but they quickly dropped three of their next four contests. Both teams are 2-3 on the year, and both teams face off on ESPN Friday night.
