NFL Week 7 Gambling Preview

NFL Week 7 Preview

The NFL is approaching the midway point in the season as the teams head into Week 7 of the 2010-11 campaign, and with the exception of a few of the divisions, there are still a lot of battles taking place as teams continue to jockey for position. Among them is my pick for Game of the Week, Minnesota at Green Bay.

These two teams are struggling early on despite having two of the best QB’s in the league.

Here I take a look at the NFL Betting matchups, giving you some early insight that will help make your 2010 NFL wagers winners.

Teams with byes this week are Detroit, Indianapolis, NY Jets, and Houston.

Week 7 Spreads: Indy vs. St. Louis

NFL Sports Betting – Indianapolis Colts at St. Louis Rams

Indianapolis Colts at St. Louis Rams
Sunday, October 25TH – 1:00 ET Edward Jones Dome
NFL Sports Betting Point Spread: Colts -13, O/U: 45

Fresh off their bye week the Indianapolis Colts get an opportunity to rack up a lot of points against the Rams on the road. The Colts have won their last three games by double digits and appear to be the most complete team in the AFC. Even without Bob Sanders the Colts defense has been very solid allowing just over 14 points per game.

Week 7 Spreads: Vikings vs. Steelers

NFL Week 7 Pick – Minnesota Vikings at Pittsburgh Steelers

Minnesota Vikings at Pittsburgh Steelers
Sunday, October 25th – Heinz Field – 1:00 ET
NFL Point Spread: Steelers -4, O/U: 45

The Pittsburgh Steelers are finally healthy and having Troy Polamalu back on the defensive side of the ball makes a huge difference for this team. The Steelers also made it official this week naming Rashard Mendenhall as their starting running back. After their 1-2 start the Steelers have reeled off three straight wins and appear to be back on track.

NFL Week 7 Preview

Week 7 is here and we are one third of the way through the season. Three of the remaining four unbeaten teams – Indianapolis (5-0), Minnesota (6-0) and New Orleans (5-0) – will be in action this week. Denver (6-0) has a bye in Week 7 after a 34-23 win at San Diego on Monday night.

The four undefeated teams through the first six weeks are the most since the 1970 merger.
