NFL Preview & Predictions – Week 10
Last week seven home teams won straight-up. Five home teams and seven road teams won against the spread and there was one push. The total bet heavily favored the ‘over’ as 11 games scored more points than the total line and only two scored less.
Week 10 of the 2010-11 NFL season starts earlier than usual with a great Thursday night matchup between the Ravens and the Falcons. There are also a couple of good divisional rivalries on tap, as the second half of the season gets underway.
Here I take a look at the matchups, giving you some early insight that will help make your 2010 NFL wagers winners. Teams with byes this week are Green Bay, Oakland, New Orleans, and San Diego.
In a potential preview of this year’s AFC Championship game, the New England Patriots travel to Indianapolis to play the Colts on Sunday night. This game over the past several years has become one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL. After completely dominating the Colts over the first half of the decade, New England has now lost four of last five meetings between these two teams. Some other big games include Cincinnati at Pittsburgh, Seattle at Arizona, and Philadelphia at San Diego.
Week 10 will showcase a battle of quarterbacks when Tom Brady and the New England Patriots travel to Indianapolis to take on Peyton Manning and the Colts. Can the Pats end the Colts unbeaten streak? It will definitely be the game of the week.
