With the 2015 NBA Draft behind us, there’s no more wondering where Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor and D’Angelo Russell will land. Barring an offseason trade, each rookie drafted knows his home, but what we don’t know is who will take away the hardware for 2015-16’s Rookie of the Year.

The NBA draft is in the books and the rookie class of 2009/2010 has already finished playing summer league ball. In another couple of months training camp will be opening and these guys will get to work for real. There are many teams that are hanging their hopes that their top rookie can step in right away and contribute in a big way.

1. Derrick Rose – Chicago Bulls
If you haven’t seen Rose shatter Andre Miller’s kneecaps with a cross-over on YouTube, then you’re haven’t seen the highlight of the year in the NBA. The former Memphis point-guard is averaging 18.7 points per game with 5.8 assists. Imagining what he might be able to do with more talent is almost scary. And by “scary” I mean “totally freaking awesome”.
