The sixth-ranked Louisville Cardinals will make the trip to over to Lexington and to legendary Rupp Arena where they will take on their in-state rivals, the 18th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats in a matchup of the last two national champions.
The No. 8 ranked Louisville Cardinals arrive in Lexington looking to notch their third win of the season when they face in state rival Kentucky on Saturday.
This rivalry is played every year but rarely twice. Back in December, Louisville’s was a 10 point underdog so all their recent successes have done is earn themselves another point of respect.
It’s rivalry time in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, but while the locals in Bluegrass country might be very excited about this reunion of two bitter foes, it’s going to be hard for this game to draw considerable national interest.
