The first round of the NHL playoffs were typically epic but void of any real upsets setting the stage for some quality Round 2 tilts. Vegas has released the updated Stanley Cup Future odds to win it all and after the first round of games – they look to have it right.
Free agency is just on the horizon but teams have already been making moves in attempts to better themselves when the NHL season kicks off in October.

The 2014 NHL season is over – full marks to the LA Kings who won their second Title in three years. It’s a completely clean sheet as we head into summer – every team (yes even the Buffalo Sabres) are in the hunt for next year’s Stanley Cup – until we actually hit the ice in October of course!
The teams remaining in the Stanley Cup playoffs were cut in half after a thrilling first round, which saw the lower-seeded team win four of the eight series. There’s still plenty of hockey to be played, meaning plenty of opportunities for the alert bettor to cash in.

One week to go in the NHL Regular Season – nearly all of the teams that will vie for Lord Stanley’s Cup have been determined. However, there are still a couple of spots still up in the air – the President’s Trophy has yet to be determined and the final Wild Card Spots have yet to be ironed out.
The Philadelphia Flyers will make the trip out to Missouri for a visit with the Western Conference-leading St. Louis Blues.
Only a few more weeks to go in the NHLs Regular Season and while some of the top dogs have stumbled the last couple of weeks some other elite teams are making quite a statement during this stretch run.

The Olympic Break is over and the NHL Trade Deadline has come and gone – now we can focus on the game alone as we head into the stretch run of what has been an incredible season.
The Olympic Break is over – hockey fans were treated to quite a two weeks in Sochi but it is time to rein everything in and get back to the reality that is the NHL chase for the Stanley Cup.
This is the last week of NHL action before the best of the best head to Sochi to take part in the Olympics. There isn’t a whole lot of change at the top of the Rankings after two weeks – the top dogs just keeping it done and in the case of the Blackhawks – they keep getting to OT but are having issues getting the two point.
