Bettors are flocking to the Chicago Bears after Minnesota’s loss to Atlanta yesterday kept the door open for in the NFC North race.

Thanks to Minnesota’s loss, the Bears are still in the playoff hunt and a win tonight will set up an interesting Week 17 matchup against Houston. With the Bears still alive, bettors have shifted allegiance after supporting tonight’s opponent, the Green Bay Packers all last week.

NFL: RAVENS POSE CHALLENGE FOR COWBOYS

The Dallas Cowboys are very much alive in the NFC playoff picture, but they have a big challenge on their hands on Saturday night against the Baltimore Ravens.

Dallas is a four-point favorite at Sportsbook.com, but that hasn’t stopped over 70% of bettors from backing the hosts.

Atlanta Falcons vs. San Diego Chargers Pick

Atlanta Falcons (+4.5) @ San Diego Chargers

NFL: Atlanta Falcons vs. San Diego Chargers
Nov 30, 2008

Atlanta and San Diego are in positions where they can’t afford to lose too many more games if they are to keep their playoff hopes in place.

Of course, after last week’s win over Carolina, Atlanta’s room for error is much greater while nothing shy of a win over the Falcons will do for San Diego.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+1) @ New England Patriots

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New England Patriots
Nov 30, 2008

Pittsburgh visited New England in a high profile game a year ago and in the face of guarantees by Steelers’ players, the Patriots prevailed 34-13.

The extra motivation helped propel New England to its only ATS win in its final nine games of the ’07 season and the stakes are again high for this Week 13 matchup.

The weekly chain of huge NFC East showdowns continues with the 10-1 Giants visiting 7-4 Washington.

New York got a step closer to home field advantage in the NFC with its win at Arizona last weekend and maintains a three-game lead in the division standings. Giants’ coach Tom Coughlin’s team is a perfect 3-0 straight up and against the spread (ATS) against East foes in ’08, and 4-1 straight up and ATS on the road as well.

Week 11 Big 12 Conference Football Handicapping Tips

The Big 12 Report – Showdown in Lubbock Part II

Another barn burner last week in the Big 12, where the Texas Tech Red Raiders showed their prowess against a weary but yet very good Texas team last week in a thriller in Lubbock. Quarterback Graham Harrell threw all over Texas and Mike Crabtree proved again to warrant Heisman consideration, as he is totally uncoverable for any team in the NCAA. He broke away from tight double coverage on the sideline route and scored a TD to win the game with 1 second left.
