Not much was expected from the Cavs this season but they showed well in a loss to UCLA and really well in a win over Louisville last week.

They are 3-0 ATS and have a chance to improve on last year overall. In looking at their schedule there is going to be some really hard work ahead for Virginia.
Their conference slate is pretty tough in the second half, though winning at BYU might be as challenging as any of their final games, save a trip up to Tallahassee.
When you look at the numbers on Virginia nothing jumps out in terms of where to pin why they are playing better than expected.

I think that the expectations might have been so low based on recent performance that modest improvement is looking much greater on the field.
More importantly this likely means that this streak of beating the number could and should end in dramatic fashion…like on Saturday.
It is hard not to be somewhat impressed with the Cougars so far. It looks like a perfect season is very possible and they played very well in their game at Texas, whipping the Longhorns yet again.
The biggest road block right now looks like a trip to play Boise State on the smurf turf.
I am not sure it will be enough but they are looking like the best potential Mid-Major playoff buster right now and Taysom Hill might be the most exciting player in the country.
Hill is second in the nation among quarterback rushing the ball and is no slouch when it comes to passing either.

Best of all he gives the Cougars energy and toughness as he is willing to stick his nose into the fray.
For BYU to achieve their goals he needs to keep playing well as it will mean they continue to win and gain attention.
Virginia’s strength is probably its secondary but odds are he won’t find himself in too many must pass situations.
This will be UVA’s first trip away from home and it won’t be much fun for the Cavs.
NCAAF Score prediction: BYU 38 – Virginia 20
BYU is totally underrated in terms of their physicality and they haven’t played a team like that this season. BYU will make it hurt in an easy win.

The Brigham Young Cougars are thriving away from the Mountain West Conference, and with the new autonomy structure in college football, BYU is positioned well going forward. But they will be facing a tough decision soon as to whether or not it would be best for the program to join one of the Power Five conferences, or remain independent.
A pair of teams coming of disappointing losses and getting at-large bids to this year’s NCAA tournament, will go head-to-head on Thursday, when No. 10 seed Brigham Young takes on No. 7 seed Oregon in the West Regional in Milwaukee.
Everything has played to form in the WCC tournament with all of the top 4 seeds advancing to the semi-finals.
The Washington Huskies have endured an eventful few weeks entering Bowl Season. Steve Sarkisian stepped down as head coach to accept the lead job at USC, and in his place, Chris Petersen has been named his replacement.
This is a nice late season battle for both of these teams. Neither of these teams is in contention for the BCS Championship but these are proud programs who will be up to try and best the other.
The 24th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers have been rolling over opponents with a powerful rushing attack and strong defense in recent weeks. This week they get a good BYU Cougars team that has won five in a row, and comes in off extra rest.
