Week 6 in the NFL had very few surprises (for a change). Most of the favorites won, though many of them didn’t cover the spreads. Let’s review a week when it seems order was restored to the football universe.
I’d describe Week 5 in the NFL as “telling.” It told us which surprise teams were for real and which weren’t.
It also told us which slow-starters would be fine and which ones have reason to panic.
The theme of Week 4: horrifically blown leads. Hope you didn’t change the channel or go work in the garden, as you would’ve missed some dandy second halves (and faced the embarrassment of telling your friends you were working in the garden).
The pickings don’t look very easy in week for of NFL betting, so here’s a bonus four-game set to choose from in case yesterday’s picks didn’t float your boat.
Defenses finally struck back in Week 3, as some fast-starting offenses finally hit the skids a little bit. The big story, though: the Lions and Bills doing the unthinkable and remaining undefeated.
The offensive madness continued in Week 2. Once again, Tom Brady and Cam Newton were the stars, as they each set new records for the most passing yards ever in the first two weeks of a season.
Well, that was exciting. The message in Week 1 of the NFL was loud and clear; the lockout hurt defensive players more than offensive players. Were they out of shape or something?
Just as Week 1 is tough to handicap in NFL preseason betting, so is Week 4. Many of the camp battles have been worked out, yeah, but which starters will play and which ones will rest?
Everyone claims to have expert theories about the NFL preseason but the truth is that you have to take anything we say with a grain of salt, as no one can truly predict how things play out.
The NFL preseason wages on – and so do the camp battles – in Week 2. These picks cover a few teams that have their positions figured out and a few that don’t.
The NFL preseason has begun baby and I do not know about you, but I am so fired up to see football I was glued to the TV yesterday for preseason games!
You may not think that betting on NFL preseason games is not a great idea, but you can win some money in those games if you keep your eye out for a few key things. We all know the starters will not play all 4 quarters and, typically, the starters will play more the closer the games are to regular season ones.
The NFL surprises us week in, week out – so imagine our surprise when the conference championship games turned out, well, exactly as most of us predicted. How surprisingly unsurprising.
