The Baltimore Ravens will try avenge their exit in the 2nd round of the 2014 NFL Playoffs as they get set for the 2015 season. Baltimore finished 2nd in the AFC North in 2014 and was a Wild Card participant. They did knock off divisional rival Pittsburgh in the AFC Wild Card Game, but blew a late 2nd half lead against the Patriots to get eliminated.
The Baltimore Ravens finished the 2013 NFL season with an 8-8 record, which left them barely on the outside looking in when it came to the Wild Card contest between the 9-7 San Diego Chargers and 11-5 Kansas City Chiefs.
The Baltimore Ravens had a very successful season last year, but the 2012 NFL playoffs couldn’t have ended in more disappointing fashion. Lee Evans dropped a touchdown pass that would have won the game for the Ravens, and then Billy Cundiff shanked a 32-yard field goal. The Ravens ended up falling 23-20 to the New England Patriots.
The 2010 playoff loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers will stick with the Baltimore Ravens for many years.
