The NBA Standings are what typical drives gamblers, but those that have been around for awhile and do this for a living, don’t pay attention to the standings at all. It isn’t wins and losses that puts money in your account, it is wins and losses against the spread. One thing I like to do, as the season reaches the halfway mark, is create a different type of standings.
Hopefully this past weekend all of you followed the divisional match up trends which showed the underdogs the last five years covered 80 percent of the time. Well this year its only 75 percent with the underdogs winning straight up in all three of those games. Now lets look at the recent trends for both of these games to help clue us in on which trend plays we should be looking at this weekend.
What’s funny about the NBA betting season is that good teams aren’t always great bets. We learned that the hard way with San Antonio last year, and they’re being even more stubborn this betting season. It’s clear that you stay away from San Antonio and Utah whenever they’re on the road, but who do you trust in this crazy NBA season?

We are halfway through the NFL season, give or take. This is a good time, then, for us to take a look at the teams that are being particularly kind to bettors, and those that are soaking the money bet on them in gas and lighting a match.
