NFL news: Dez Bryant wants to move on from Deion Sanders

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is distancing himself from mentor Deion Sanders.

Dez Bryant Done With Primetime?

The Hall-of-Fame cornerback Sanders suggested that Bryant, who has gotten into offseason hot water (including not paying his rent), should surround himself with others who will tell him “no” instead of enablers.

“I congratulate Deion on the success he had in his career and I’m very excited about him being inducted into the Hall of Fame,” Bryant told KESN-FM in Dallas.

“But my focus is on the Cowboys. Whatever is said about that situation, it can be said. I’m done with it. I’m just ready to move on.”

Brian Cushing says he’ll pray for James Harrison

Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing responded to James Harrison’s claims that he was “juiced out of his mind” – sort of.

He responded to Harrison’s controversial Men’s Journal interview simply saying that “I’ll pray for him.” [soliloquy id=”82219″]
