NFL Week 12 Wagering – Chicago Bears vs. St. Louis Rams

The Chicago Bears and St. Louis Rams meet in Week 12 of the NFL season with both teams reeling from big losses this past Sunday. The Bears were throttled by their most hated rivals, the Green Bay Packers, in a mistake prone game that had to cause more than one sports betting fan to shudder. The Bears have now lost two games in a row and are in second place in the NFC North Division.

Chicago is 5 and 5 and in danger of missing the playoffs for the second time in a row. Their record against the BetUS online sportsbook betting spread isn’t all that great either at 4-5-1. The problem is their defense that just doesn’t have the same sort of aggressiveness that it used to. This team is easy to run on. That’s not a good thing.

The St. Louis Rams won two big games in a row but since then they’ve been flat out awful. For online football betting fans, this team is terrible. Bears vs. Rams Week 12 SpreadTheir straight-up record is a horrendous 2 and 8. Their record against the BetUS online wagering spread is almost as bad at 3 and 7. They’re not a very good defensive team and they can’t protect the quarterback. This is just a very bad football team.

Here are the BetUS online sportsbook betting odds for this game.

Kick-off: 11/23/2008 1:00 pm est.

Chicago Bears – 8 ½ – 110 – 380 O 43 – 110
St. Louis Rams + 8 ½ – 110 + 310 U 43 – 110

Here are a few online wagering trends that might help us find a good online bet in this game.

The Chicago Bears are 1 and 4 against the spread in their last 5 games overall.
The Under is 6 and 0 in the Chicago Bears last 6 games on the road.
The St. Louis Rams are 2 and 7 against the spread in their last 9 games versus an NFC Conference opponent.
The Over is 6 and 1 in the St. Louis Rams last 7 games on turf.

NFL betting fans know that the Rams are a terrible team, but what about the Chicago Bears who looked terrific early on this season only to start to fall apart in the second half of the season?

The Bears have more talent than the Rams, but the Rams are at home for this game. I don’t have enough guts to take the Rams on the BetUS money line, but I do have enough guts to say flat out that the Rams could easily beat the 8 ½ point online wagering spread.

NFL Week 12 Prediction:

That’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to go with the Rams to beat the BetUS online sportsbook wagering spread of 8 ½ points. The Rams aren’t 8 ½ point worse than the Bears and the Bears are playing terribly right now.
