Panthers Are Going To Surprise Wings Tonight
I am well aware that the Wings are 8-3 SU in their last 11 games, and are 4-1-1 SU in their last 6 road games against Florida. But Florida is coming off a huge game where they smoked Tampa 4-0. Before that, they beat up on Anaheim – in the Pond no less – with a final tally of 3-1. The Panthers are by no means a sexy team, but their home defense is strong enough to hold up against the Wings. They allow only 2.2 goals against when playing at home.
Detroit has been flip-flopping wins and losses recently, dropping two games to Pittsburgh and San Jose respectively. They’re also coming off a game in Tampa last night that they barely won 4-3. Bet on the rested Panthers to knock the Wings off their tracks as Detroit tries to play in back-to-back roadies.

Blackhawks Soaring High, Blues Doing The Opposite
The bubble burst in St. Louis two weeks ago and the misery has no end in sight for the Blues betting faithful. They’ve allowed an average of 5.0 goals against in their last five games. That’s five lamp lighters a game! That’s stupid. The Blackhawks are heavy favorites here, which is why you should take them moneyline in a two-team parlay with something else you like on the board. The Blackhawks are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games and allow only 2.1 goals per game at home. They’re also the second best offense when playing at home, notching 4.0 goals for at the United Center.

Ducks Host Predators in the Pond
Usually a team that has played four games on the road doesn’t stand a chance against one of the Western Conference power houses. But the Ducks have dropped two straight in their own building, losing to Dallas and Florida on the puckline. That’s horrifically embarrassing for the usually sturdy Ducks. It doesn’t help that the Ducks give up 3.3 goals per game against when hosting in the Pond.
Nashville has a beautiful 4-3 victory over San Jose in the Shark Tank in hand, and the betting trends are pointing in the direction of the Predators right now. But you have to consider that the Preds have been traveling for nearly two weeks now and are playing in a hostile environment. The Predators’ road defense gives up a gut wrenching 4.1 goals against per game, so don’t try and get sneaky with a play on Nashville here.
