The New York Giants will look for revenge after last season’s playoff loss to the Eagles as they visit the 1 point favorite Philadelphia Eagles at 1:00 PM ET at Lincoln Financial Field in NFC East rivalry fight.

The Giants must win this game to avoid a 3 game losing streak. “It is a divisional game; we have a half-a-game lead on the Philadelphia Eagles,” Head Coach Tom Coughlin said. “The game is in Philadelphia. I don’t know that it gets any more exciting.”

NY will have to pressure QB Donovan McNabb in other to make him uncomfortable in the pocket and to keep him from finding an open receiver. The Eagles front line had struggled defending the blitz (they allowed Oakland to sack McNabb 6 times). With Brian Westbrook nursing a concussion, expect Philadelphia to hit LeSean McCoy with short passes to avoid the blitz like they did against Washington on Monday Night. 
The Philadelphia Eagles have to stay away from is third down and long situations. They have been unable to convert third and long scenarios as they rank 22th in third downs conversions at 34%.
To make it worse the NY Giant’s defense is the second best in the league in stopping opponents on 3rd downs.
Eli Manning was 19 of 37 for 243 yards with one touchdown and three INTs in last Sunday’s 24-17 home loss to Arizona. He got sacked 3 times.
“We have a big game vs. Philly at Philly, it’s a huge game,” Giants quarterback Eli Manning said. “We know it’s going to be a tough battle, but we have to go out there, play well and eliminate the mistakes.”
With the Giants offense on the field they have to play against a strong Eagles D which is ranked 4th in total defense. The edge for the edge for the Giants will be exploiting Ahmad Bradshaw’s speed thru the middle against the slow Eagles’ linebackers.
