The Vikings are basically coming of two bye weeks as they easily beat the Detroit Lions 27-10 last weekend; meanwhile the Seahawks put up a hard fight against the Cardinals over three quarters but ended up losing 31-20.

The key to victory for the Seattle is for Matt Hasselbeck and the rest of the Seahawks offense must sustain long drives to keep Favre off of the field and to tire down the Minnesota D. Seahawks rookie RB Justin Forsett will be starting his first game of his career and has a daunting task in facing one of the top rushing defenses in the league.
Hasselbeck will be looking either for Nate Burleson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh and TE John Carlson. Hasselbeck will be under fire all game long as DE Jared Allen will be coming after him.
“We’re not losing another game.” Houshmandzadeh said to Coach Jim Mora. “I’d rather hear that than, ‘Oh God, what are we going to do? How are we going to win?’” Mora said of Houshmandzadeh’s prediction. “You can call it false enthusiasm, false confidence, but it’s certainly the mindset you want your team to have.”
The Seahawks D will have to contend with Adrian Peterson, also future Hall of Famer Brett Favre who is putting some ridiculous numbers for a 40 year old guy and rookie WR Percy Harvin who has become a playmaker on offense.
