NFL Win Totals | Free NFL 2015 Predictions – Under The Radar Bets

NFL Over/Under Gambling?

Like Division, Conference, and Super Bowl futures, Over/Unders for NFL teams are a hot commodity for bettors. It’s not rare to find teams not in the spotlight that easily surpass their total wins very early in the season.

It’s also not rare to find these same teams having abysmal seasons and not having a chance to get their win total unless they win out. These O/U can be very profitable for bettors if they find the right angles early.

5 Under the Radar Bets

Bengals 8.5 wins (OVER -105, UNDER -125); 2014 wins: 10

PICK: UNDER

The Bengals did grab 10 wins in 2014, but that wasn’t even enough for a AFC North Division Title. Cincinnati has a gauntlet of a schedule this season and getting to 11 wins will be tough.

[dfads params=’groups=63753&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

The Bengals start the season off alternating between away and home games through Week 4. The traveling will see them go from Oakland, to Cincinnati, over to Baltimore, then back to Cincinnati. The jet lag is reason enough to think Cincinnati could easily overlook a game in this span.

To end the season, they finish at Cleveland, vs. Pittsburgh, at San Francisco, at Denver, and the against Baltimore.

For starters, Cleveland has proven they can beat the best of teams at home. Then to have to deal with the other two division rivals with TWO primetime away games on the West Coast….the Bengals are going to struggle to grab a key win down the stretch.

Browns 6 wins (OVER -125 , UNDER -105); 2014 wins: 7

PICK: UNDER

This is a very generous number for Cleveland. With all the turmoil Johnny Manziel has brought and dealt with, that is a distraction in itself.

Cleveland went out and signed Josh McCown to a 3 year deal in the offseason, McCown has never been proven in the NFL and is at best a bottom tier QB. With the talent Cleveland has around him, it shouldn’t hold very high hopes for them scoring a lot.

They eclipsed this number by just 1 game in 2014 and that was thanks to Brian Hoyer having some early success. The Browns essentially ran Hoyer out of town and settled for McCown. They’ll struggle mightily to score this season.

Lions 8.5 wins (OVER -110 , UNDER -120); 2014 wins: 11

PICK: OVER

The Lions have one of the most prolific and scary offenses in the league. With 6 nationally televised games this season, they’ll get a chance to show off and have the whole country see just how good they are.

They get some luck with Denver, San Francisco, and Green Bay all at home inside the dome this season.

[dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

To make matters even better for them, the Lions get Green Bay AFTER a bye week. They’ll have a chance to prepare and find a way to slow down Aaron Rodgers.

If everything holds to form, they should be 8-3 or 7-4 heading into their primetime battle with Green Bay at home. They should be in the thick of a playoff race and have a very good chance to grab a home win to help the Over bettors.

Eagles 9 wins (OVER -110 , UNDER -120); 2014 wins: 10

PICK: UNDER

In a shocking offseason move, the Eagles dealt Nick Foles to the Rams for Sam Bradford. Chip Kelly will now have to adapt Bradford to the high flying, fast paced offense of the Philadelphia Eagles.

That certainly won’t be an easy thing to do as Bradford was in one of the slowest offenses in the league when he played with the Rams. And to make matters even worse, he’s coming off an injury plagued season.

Bradford will struggled to fit in here and the Eagles shouldn’t come close to this number.

Steelers 8.5 wins (OVER -115, UNDER -115); 2014 wins: 11

PICK: OVER

This number is a head scratcher. The defending AFC North Champs only got better this offseason and have one of the best offenses in the league.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Ben Rothlisberger is such a dangerous weapon and can pick apart any defense in the league.

The Steelers even luck out Week 1 as they head to New England and get the chance to face the Patriots without Tom Brady who is suspended.

Their non conference schedule features home games against the Cardinals, Raiders, and Colts. Theres no reason Pittsburgh can’t win all of those. With that, they should surpass this low 8.5 total listed for them.
