With updated Super Bowl odds being released by sportsbooks, it’s time for bettors to re-evaluate where the value may lie with the remaining teams in contention for the Lombardi Trophy.

Here’s a look at four teams worthy of a closer look when putting money down on Super Bowl futures:

Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Odds +250

The Seahawks went through a bit of a mid-season swoon, but they’ve come out on the other side of that in a big way. The Seahawks are the best team in football at the moment. With a bye this week, and a favorable matchup on deck two weeks from now, these are great odds to get right now, even if they are the shortest of the bunch.

The Seattle passing offense could still use a little work as the team is too reliant on the chaos Russell Wilson creates with his feet, but the running game is still a force to be reckoned with, and no unit comes close to the quality of the team’s defense.

Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Odds +850

The Cowboys had a downright special season on offense. So much so that it covered up a defense that many expected would be the worst in the league entering the season. Dallas has arguably the top offensive line in football, and that group has been opening up gaping holes for DeMarco Murray and the team’s running game all season.

Running the football is such an important part of postseason success and there may not be another team that can do it as well as the Cowboys. That’s not to mention a passing game that’s been overshadowed, but has been highly efficient this season. Quarterback Tony Romo has dealt with injuries but has made the most of his reps, and wide receiver Dez Bryant has solidified himself as one of the top players at the position.

Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl Odds +4000

The Ravens have played up or down to their competition this season, but got some help in Week 17 to get into the playoffs. They’ll get as big a boost as anyone with the return of Haloti Ngata along the defensive line.

If running back Justin Forsett’s body holds up and he can give the team some quality carries on the ground, that coupled with quarterback Joe Flacco’s ability to hit plays over the top makes the Ravens as dangerous an opponent as any.

Arizona Cardinals Super Bowl Odds +10000

If Carson Palmer was still around, the Cardinals might be the favorite to win the Super Bowl. The team’s offense took hit after hit as the season progressed, but it did seem like the unit seemed to figure something out in the season finale in San Francisco.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Bruce Arians certainly knows his way around an offense, so if anyone can find a way to get something out of the healthy bodies left in Arizona, he’s the guy.

There’s no denying that the Cardinals have one of the top defenses in football. If that group can continue its stellar play, and maybe mix in a big play or two from cornerback Patrick Peterson, then they’ll be a tough team to knock off.
