It may only be the preseason, but the Kansas City Chiefs are on a roll.
With their full roster intact for what seems like the first time in forever, people are finally seeing some of the potential that this squad has to offer.
While Alex Smith-run offenses have mustered only 1 touchdown in 3 quarters this preseason, there is a lot to look at on the Chiefs.

It’s go time for both the Titans and Chiefs when 8:00 rolls around on Friday night, as they position themselves to make their roster cuts down to 75 players after this weekend of football.
Tennessee Titans
Marcus Mariota has been exactly what the Titans have expected this preseason. Although he hasn’t thrown a touchdown yet this preseason, he has shown the flashes of brilliance that the team was expecting from him.
His mobility has been able to extend plays and keep him out of trouble and his ability to run multiple styles of offenses has been on display.

Running back David Cobb will not be playing in this game with a calf injury. He was challenging starter Bishop Sankey for his role, but looks like he will settle into the #2 role instead.
Sankey can use this week 3 challenge to show that he IS a viable #1 option at running back. Also look for Dorial Green-Beckham to try and get some plays in after slightly injuring himself this preseason.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs re-tooled parts of their roster with additions like WR Jeremy Maclin and offensive lineman Ben Grubbs. They drafted young stars in CB Marcus Peters and WR Chris Conley.
And one of the most underrated happenings in the offeseason greatly benefited Kansas City; the return of Eric Berry after his long absence during his time away from the game to battle cancer.

The team will be without star DT Dontari Poe, which will be a big loss on the defensive line. They will also get to evaluate Dee Ford on the field after an injury scare last week in which the team thought he would not be available this week’s game.
The one to watch is the aforementioned Peters, who has been outstanding in practice this camp.
