Season Win Totals NFL Predictions – Seattle Seahawks 2015 Lines

Seahawks Over Under Wins Betting Odds

The Seattle Seahawks will be after double digit wins for the fourth consecutive season in 2015 and will look to make an appearance in the Super Bowl for the fourth straight year – it is pretty hard to imagine the Seahawks dropping off in any way this upcoming season.

Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman and Bobby Wagner still exist on defense while Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and newly added Jimmy Graham will be there to terrorize on offense.

So where do we see the Seahawks ending up in the standings in 2015? Let’s take a look.

The Seattle Seahawks are stacked – period! They have proven in seasons past that they are a team that can win any number of ways on the football field. This upcoming year they should be extra motivated by their last-second, heartbreaking loss to the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

The Seahawks definitely don’t want that feeling again, and, to a man, have worked hard this offseason in order to improve.

The Hawks start with two games on the road – the opener in St. Louis shouldn’t be much of an issue but in Week 2 they travel to Green Bay to take on the only team better than them at home. The Hawks return home in Week 3 to take on the Bears and then the Lions – two games that are easily winnable. That takes them to a 3-1 start.

Week 5 sees Seattle flying cross-country to take on what looks on paper to be a solid Bengals team at the dreaded 10AM ET start. This could be a tough game for the Hawks who traditionally have issues in early games in the Eastern time zone. Carolina pays visit in Week 6 – a game that Seattle should win.

A date with the reeling 49ers in next followed by a date in Dallas in Week 8. The Hawks defense will likely be the difference in both as Seattle moves to 6-2. After their bye in Week 9 the Hawks host Arizona, San Francisco and then Minnesota – all games they should win in front of the best crowd in Football.

Seattle plays its next two games on the road – in Minnesota and Baltimore – Seattle has never won in Baltimore and will likely be in tough again. Still, after Week 14 we are staring at a 10-3 record. Seattle travels to Cleveland in Week 15, heads home for a date with the Rams in Week 16 and head out on the road in the final week of the season for what could reasonable be a meaningless game. My guess is that Seattle loses one of those three games.

So where does that leave Seattle at the end of the year? 12-4 by my count – Over the 11 wins Vegas has set out. There are just too many pieces on this team that will ensure that a dropoff won’t happen. Defense, offense, special teams and coaching are all too proud to let this team slip.

Prediction:

I see the Seahawks going undefeated at home, meaning that a .500 record on the road will give them 12 wins.

Seattle is the favorite for the Super Bowl once again folks – like it or not!
