NFL Week 3 betting action sees a full slate of games for us all to chew on. There should be some motivated teams heading into Week 3 after some of the elite got the luster knocked right off them. Injuries in Week 2 could also have a huge impact on the outcome of the scheduled games this weekend.

Bucs at Falcons
Week 3 Point Spread: Falcons -6 1/2

The Bucs had their issues with Derek Anderson and Austin Davis – now they have to contend with an angry Matt Ryan! On Atlanta’s home turf this has the potential to be the blowout of the week!

Chargers at Bills
Week 3 Point Spread: Bills -2 1/2

The Bills look every bit like the Kansas City Chiefs did at this point last year. I like them to keep the roll going and to run the ball right down San Diego’s throat Sunday. I can’t believe I’m saying it but the Bills will be 3-0 Sunday night!

Cowboys at Rams
Week 3 Point Spread: Dallas -1.5

This line isn’t out yet but Dallas, off a huge win should be a confident team. That’s as long as they don’t forget about DeMarco Murray. This game figures to be close with the Cowboys eeking out a three point win – on the road.

Redskins at Eagles
Week 3 Point Spread: Eagles -6.5

The line isn’t out for this game either but it is hard not to love what Philadelphia is doing on both sides of the ball. Kirk Cousins looks like he should be fine at QB but in an uber-hostile environment its hard not to love the Eagles to remain perfect on the season.

Texans (-2.5) at Giants
Week 3 Point Spread: Texans -2 1/2

The Giants look putrid while the Texans have looked good in their 2-0 start. Houston’s defense has been a terror the first two weeks and should make life miserable for Eli in Week 3 as well. This game won’t be close as calls for Tom Coughlin’s head ring loud and clear.

Vikings at Saints
Week 3 Point Spread: Vikings +9.5

It looks as though Adrian Peterson will play this week – a huge boost for a team that looked listless without him. New Orleans has certainly had their issues defensively this year – cue an angry Peterson. While I like New Orleans to win this week, I think the Vikings keep it in doubt until the end.

Titans at Bengals
Week 3 Point Spread: Bengals -7

Cinci looks like one of the best teams in the game right now – the defense is absolutely insane and the offense is doing its thing as well. The Titans were awful last week – can’t depend on them to keep this one close.

Ravens at Browns
Week 3 Point Spread: Browns +2

Off a confidence inspiring win against New Orleans, I like the Browns to keep the roll going. They are 2-0 ATS so far this year and look decent all over the field. I’m not sure about Baltimore just yet.

Packers at Lions
Week 3 Point Spread: Packers +1.5

The Pack are 0-2 ATS so far this year but seem to be in a good position here. Green Bay’s weakness on defense is versus the run and the Lions can’t run the ball. On paper Green Bay is the better team and absolutely need a big performance to avoid falling below .500. I like the Packers to get it done this week against a schizophrenic Lions team.

Colts at Jaguars
Week 3 Point Spread: Colts -7

Indy is due for a big win and shouldn’t have a problem against the lowly Jags.

Raiders at Patriots
Week 3 Point Spread: Pats -13.5

New England finally got off the mat last week and has the honor of taking on the pathetic Raiders this week. If this game is close, there is something askew in the universe.

49ers at Cardinals
Week 3 Point Spread: 49ers +2.5

Don’t be scared of the road dog here. The 49ers maybe needed a bit of a wake-up call and that’s what they got in Week 2. While the 49ers have underachieved a bit this season, the Cards look as though they have overachieved. Expect the universe rights itself Sunday as the Cards suffer their first loss at the hands of their division foe. San Fran is 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 games as road underdog.

Broncos at Seahawks
Week 3 Point Spread: Broncos +4.5

Game of the weekend – hands down! Seattle will be a motivated bunch after a humbling loss last week. They get to play in front of the 12th man – we all saw what that did to Aaron Rodgers and company! Although I like the Hawks to prevail, 4.5 is just too much for me. I see this as a three point game – take the Broncos to cover.

Chiefs at Dolphins
Week 3 Point Spread: Chiefs +4.5

The Chiefs played the Broncos tough last week – they are better than their record suggests. They actually outgained the Broncos in that game. Miami, coming off a 29-10 loss at Buffalo may be in trouble here – take the Chiefs to run the ball down Miami’s throat!

Steelers at Panthers
Week 3 Point Spread: Panthers -3

The Steelers didn’t look very good last week in a 26-6 loss to Baltimore – not a whole lot of optimism for this team ahead of this week. With a week of action under his belt expect Cam Newton’s offense to be on point and for Carolina’s defense to dominate.

Bears at Jets
Week 3 Point Spread: Bears +1 1/2

The Bears beat Indy on the road last week and will enter this week even healthier than they were last week. Although the Jets played well last week, the Bears look poised to take the next step.
