Week 10 NFL Betting Parlay – Eagles vs. Packers, Panthers vs. 49ers

NFL Parlay of the Week

Last week in the NFL the underdogs had a slight 7-6 edge over the favorites against the spread on the strength of Minnesota and Tampa Bay covering in a close loss. Higher scoring games remained the norm for the fourth week in a row with nine of the 13 games going OVER the closing total line.

Turning to this Sunday’s slate of games in the NFL, I have uncovered a couple of matchups that come together perfectly to form my parlay of the week based on lines provided by [dfads params=’groups=63740&limit=1&return_javascript=0′].

Game 1 – Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers

Pointspread: Green Bay -1.5
Total Line: 46.5

ATS Matchup Stats | NFL Gambling Insight!

Philadelphia is coming off its best effort of the season in a 49-20 pasting of Oakland as a one-point road underdog. The Eagles are 4-5 straight-up with a 4-1 record on the road both SU and against the spread.

Quarterback Nick Foles is coming off a record-tying seven touchdown performance against the Raiders and the defense has allowed an average of just 17.3 points in its last three games.

The Packers’ four-game winning streak came to a crashing halt last Monday night in a 27-20 loss to Chicago as a 10-point home favorite, but the damage goes much deeper than that with the loss of Aaron Rodgers for the foreseeable future with a broken collarbone.

Green Bay would have come into this game as a 10-point favorite again, but on a short week it will have to quickly regroup with Seneca Wallace under center.

Look for Philadelphia to take full advantage of the Packers’ dire situation with the SU win.

Game 2 – Carolina Panthers vs. San Francisco 49ers

Pointspread: San Francisco -6
Total Line: 42.5

ATS Matchup Stats | NFL Gambling Insight!

Carolina extended its current winning streak both SU and ATS to four games with a 34-10 romp over Atlanta last Sunday as a 10-point home favorite. It has now scored 30 or more points in all four of these games and the total has gone OVER in three of the contests.

Cam Newton has returned to the form he showed as a rookie and the Panthers’ running game is averaging 130.1 yards a game.

The 49ers went into last week’s bye riding a five-game winning streak both SU and ATS while scoring 31 points or more in all five contests.

The total went OVER in four of the five games. They also have a bruising running game that is ranked first in the NFL with 153 yards a game.

Both of these teams also boast a shutdown defense as its primary strength but against a very favorable total line I am going with the OVER 42.5 in this game in the back-end of this week’s parlay.
