Minnesota

When you consider that expectations were pretty low coming into the season and all the Vikings have gone through with the whole Adrian Peterson mess, it hasn’t been such a terrible year.

They have won 2 in a row and have played in some other close games so their record could be a lot better.

Also, playing to their favour is that the Bears could not be playing any worse right now. Sure it is a road game but the fans could easily turn on the home squad if they are stinking it up again.

Given the background of new coach Mike Zimmer it should be no surprise that the Vikings are stronger on the defensive side of the ball.

The investment in Everson Griffen is really paying off and had they had Peterson in the mix all season long they might have even been in the playoff mix.

Teddy Bridgewater looks like a promising QB and could be a good fit for a game manager kind of role.

This will be a good road test.

Chicago

Can things get much worse for the Bears this season.

They have lost three in a row, are out of the playoffs and worst of all have been dominated twice by rival Green Bay…and last week that might have been an understatement.

Patience is wearing thin for geeky coach Marc Trestman and they need to start showing signs of life or he might be shown the door.

These guys have been playing so bad you just think it has to turn but that is a difficult reason to place your bet.

You can pick on Jay Cutler all you want but the Bears give up more points than anybody in the NFL.

They have tried to make Cutler and the receivers the focus of the team but they have gone too far in terms of trying to play winning football with a mediocre defense and injuries have just killed them this season too.

The season is lost so now you just have to wonder how much pride these guys have in their craft to make plays to win.

4* FREE NFL Football Week 11 Prediction: Bears -3

I may be foolish but I just think that the bleeding has to stop sometime and this is the week.

NFL Score prediction:  Chicago 28 – Minnesota 21

At only -3 at home there is still some value there.
