Here’s a look at the Philadelphia Eagles’ schedule for the upcoming season.

Week 1: Mon, Sept. 14 at Falcons

The Eagles will play more than a quarter of their games in prime-time this season, so it’s only fitting that they began the year that way. Chip Kelly is 3-0 on Monday Night Football.

Week 2: Sun, Sept. 20 vs. Cowboys

The Eagles’ first divisional matchup comes on a short week. DeMarco Murray will make his first start against the Cowboys since signing a free agent deal with the Eagles in the offseason.

Week 3: Sun, Sept. 27 at Jets

One head coach is an offensive genius, the other is a defensive specialist.

Week 4: Sun, Oct. 4 at Redskins

The Eagles lost a game to the Redskins last season and that’s what cost them a playoff spot.

Week 5: Sun, Oct. 11 vs. Saints

These two teams met in the postseason a couple of years ago. The Saints won in Philadelphia. The Eagles are still glad to get this one at home rather than make the trip to the Superdome.

Week 6: Mon, Oct. 19 vs. Giants

The Eagles faced the Giants in Week 6 of last season and shut them out in a 27-0 victory.

Week 7: Sun, Oct. 25 at Panthers

A short week for the Eagles leading into their bye. They get the Panthers, who stole the Eagles’ playoff spot a year ago by virtue of winning the NFC South.

Week 8: BYE

Week 9: Sun, Nov. 8 at Cowboys

DeMarco Murray makes his return to Dallas on Sunday Night Football. He’ll be fresh following the team’s bye week.

Week 10: Sun, Nov. 15 vs. Dolphins

The Dolphins will look to attack the Eagles’ vulnerable secondary through the air with their new receiving options.

Week 11: Sun, Nov. 22 vs. Buccaneers

The Philadelphia faithful will get a first-hand look at No. 1 overall draft pick Jameis Winston, who looks to turn things around for a Buccaneers squad that finished 2014 with the league’s worst record.

Week 12: Thurs, Nov. 26 at Lions

Staying with the trend of keeping the Eagles playing under the bright lights, Philadelphia will make the trip out to Detroit for the turkey day game. The Lions will be wishing they hadn’t endured so much turnover on the defensive line against the Eagles’ rushers.

Week 13: Sun, Dec. 6 at Patriots

Many have been waiting for the Chip Kelly versus Bill Belichick matchup since the former decided to leave Eugene. The Patriots are usually rolling right along by this point in the season, and the Eagles will have plenty of time to work in their new horses.

Week 14: Sun, Dec. 13 vs. Bills

LeSean McCoy will make his return trip to Philadelphia. He’ll want to shred the Eagles’ defense, but Chip Kelly will want to do all he can to stop McCoy after the running back’s shots at the coach on his way out the door in Philly.

Week 15: Sun, Dec. 20 vs. Cardinals

Another battle of the birds. Bruce Arians has taken some shots at Chip Kelly in the media, which will only serve to add to the intensity of this game.

Week 16: Sat, Dec. 26 vs. Redskins

Another Eagles game with the national spotlight on it. DeSean Jackson back in Philadelphia once again will give the fans something to jeer about.

Week 17: Sun, Jan. 3 at Giants

The Eagles figure to have more to play for than the Giants by this time of year. The division angle will keep things interesting, even if the action on the field doesn’t.
