2015 NFC Conference Champion Future Odds – NFL Handicapping Picks

2015/16 NFC Preview & Predictions

We continue to inch closer and closer to the start of another season of football in the NFL and Bovada continues to fine-tune its 2015 NFL futures odds.

NFL Handicapping Insight

One of the most heated battles on tap this season should be for the NFC Championship with everyone chasing two-time champ Seattle for the top spot in this conference.

The following is a closer look as a few of the top contenders to win the NFC along with the betting odds for all 16 teams as provided by Bovada.

Green Bay Packers

Odds to win the NFC 13/4

The Packers continue to gain traction with the betting public to win the NFC this season and they have now ascended to the top spot on the list.

Everything remain in place for another deep run in the postseason after falling to Seattle 28-22 in last year’s NFC title game as 8.5-point road underdogs.

The key this season is to lock-up home field advantage to play this game at Lambeau Field.

Seattle Seahawks

Odds to win the NFC 7/2

Seattle remains basically intact for its previous two runs to a conference title and the addition of All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham in a trade with New Orleans gives quarterback Russell Wilson a big target in the passing game.

The weight of trying to make it to three-straight Super Bowls could be the only thing dragging down the Seahawks’ odds.

Dallas Cowboys

Odds to win the NFC 6/1

The Cowboys are coming off a breakthrough season in which they snapped a string of 8-8 seasons with a 12-4 run to the NFC East title. They just signed wide-receiver Dez Bryant to a long-term deal, but the impact of losing running back DeMarco Murray to rival Philadelphia has yet to be seen.

The pressure on Tony Romo could really be dialed-up in the absence of a solid running game.

Philadelphia Eagles

Odds to win the NFC 11/1

Third-year head coach Chip Kelly was handed the reins to all the team’s personnel decisions this past offseason and he made the most of the opportunity by completely changing the face of his offense while rebuilding his defensive secondary. Many of these moves will hinge on key players staying healthy, especially new starting quarterback Sam Bradford.

If everything goes right there is some tremendous value in these odds, but the risk remains high.

Arizona Cardinals

Odds to win the NFC 12/1

The Cardinals continued to climb the ladder in a very competitive NFC West with an 11-5 record last season after winning 10 games in 2013. The big question is can they get past Seattle this year since it would be extremely hard to make it to Super Bowl 50 on the road as a Wildcard team.

The added some help on defense through free agency and their offensive line should also be improved with the addition of first round draft pick DJ Humphries, but it will still be up to veteran quarterback Carson Palmer to stay healthy enough to get this team over the hump.
