Last week I went with two favorites and they hit. This Saturday For my Week 3 free NCAA Football parlay I’ve gone with one favorite and underdog to cover ATS. I’m on Indiana to cover a TD spread and Kentucky to cover as a big dog on the road.

Game 1 – Indiana Hoosiers vs. Bowling Green Falcons

NCAA Football Point Spread: Indiana –7 (-110)
NCAA Football Over/Under: OFF
Week 3 Stats & Trends

This game opened up at Indiana –4 and has jumped up to –7 or –7.5 points depending where you look. I recommend jumping on the Hoosiers at –7 while you can because it’ll keep increasing this week.

Believe me, I’m not a fan of the Hoosiers, as they’re a poor Big Ten team. Some will say that Indiana will be looking past Bowling Green, as next week the Hoosiers have #20 Missouri on deck.

Indiana knows how hard it’ll be to go on the road and beat Mizzou, so I don’t expect them to take BGSU lightly this weekend, as the last thing the Hoosiers want is to be 1-2 after their first three games.

The Hoosiers opened up their season with a 28-10 win over Indiana State in week 1. They had last week off to prepare for BGSU, which is another reason why I expect them to come out and dominate.

Bowling Green lost starting QB Matt Johnson for the year and will roll with James Knapke. Indiana is a tough defense to play against and Knapke is likely to make more than one mistake in this game.

The Falcons haven’t looked good this year either. They lost in week 1 on the road to Western Kentucky (59-31) and allowed 701 total yards on offense including 569 yards through the air.

BGSU bounced back with an easy win over VMI (48-7) at home, but that doesn’t tell us anything. Look for Tevin Coleman to have a huge game. In week 1 Coleman had 23 carries for 247 yards and 2 TD’s.

Nate Sudfeld struggled in his first game, as he only completed 11/18 passes for 111 yards. Look for him to improve. Last season these two played in Indiana and the Hoosiers dominated (42-10).

NCAA Free Pick: Indiana dominates BGSU for the 2nd consecutive year.

Game 2 – Kentucky Wildcats vs. Florida Gators

NCAA Football Point Spread: Florida –18 (-110)
NCAA Football Over/Under: OFF
Week 3 Stats & Trends

You may think I’m crazy taking the Wildcats again, as history tells us that Florida own the Wildcats. Dating all the way back to 1986, the Gators have gone 27-0 against Kentucky, which is unreal.

Florida has covered the spread in the last seven meetings and the last six have been double-digit spreads that the Gators have been able to cover. However, Kentucky has this game marked on the calendar.

Even with all the struggles Florida had last season they still beat the Wildcats (24-7). This year Kentucky has opened up the season with two wins over UT Martin (59-14) and Ohio (20-3).

The win over Ohio wasn’t all that impressive, as it was 14-0 after the first two Kentucky possessions and all they could manage after was two FG’s, but you can bet they were looking ahead to Florida.

[dfads params=’groups=63739&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Florida opened up their season last week with an impressive 65-0 win over Eastern Michigan. One of the reasons why I like the Wildcats though is because the Gators have Alabama on deck next week.

The Gators had 655 total yards of offense while holding EMU to just 125 total yards. Florida also forced five turnovers in the game, but Kentucky is a much better team than EMU.

This game comes down to how well or poorly Patrick Towles plays. This is his first real test. I’m a fan of Mark Stoops and what he has done in Kentucky and I like them to keep this one close.

NCAA Free Pick: Kentucky loses SU on the road, but covers ATS.
