UCLA is also coming off a win, as they defeated the then-ranked No. 19 USC Trojans 38-20.

Stanford

The Stanford Cardinal just haven’t looked like themselves this season. They’re just 6-5 with one game remaining, but their defense has been where they’ve found success.

[dfads params=’groups=63738&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

At this point in the year, Stanford ranks seventh in the nation in terms of points allowed. The Cardinal are giving up just 16.5 points per contest.

Offensively, this team has struggled. The team is just 89th when it comes to points per game, which equates to just 25.2 points per contest.

Against UCLA, the defensive scheme will be to force the Bruins into a one-dimensional approach — something easier said than done.

The Bruins have a very balanced attack offensively, but the Cardinal are 10th in the nation at defending the pass, 14th in defending the run and sixth in terms of total yards per game allowed this season.

UCLA

The UCLA Bruins are one win away from facing the No. 2 Oregon Ducks in the Pac-12 Championship.

If that weren’t enough incentive to go out and get a win, quarterback Brett Hundley has announced that this will be his final season before entering the NFL draft.

So far this season, the team has found a balanced attack on offense. The Bruins are 27th in passing yards, accumulating 278.2 yards per game in that category, and they’re 32nd in rushing yards with 208.5 yards per contest on the ground.

In total, the Bruins are averaging 35 points per game, which is good enough for 30th in the country.

Week 14 NCAA Football

As if the odds weren’t already in UCLA’s favor, Ty Montgomery will be out for the Cardinal on Friday. He has a shoulder injury that will keep him from playing in the team’s final regular season game — although he’s looking to return for the bowl game.

4* Free NCAA Betting Pick UCLA -5

Although you know Stanford’s defense will be up for the challenge, this one just screams UCLA. Look for the Cardinal to put up a fight, but look for the Bruins to get a solid win straight up, as well as against the spread, en route to the Pac-12 title game.
