I'm not too sure that Alabama waltzes its way to the SEC Championship. Ole Miss, LSU, and Auburn will have something to say about this. I still think they are the class of the conference, but not by as large a margin as you may think.

Do you remember Prothro and the offense Alabama had before his injury? Had Prothro not gone down Bama would still be stuck with Shula at the helm. Bama now has a man by the name of Maze who will blow by guys for deep throws, in which McElroy has shown the touch. Add Jones along with the Maze speedster threat, and you have defenses who will have to play soft, thus enabling the run attack. Look for a lot of play action pass to burn defenses this year. Then along comes the tides defense..Well nothing more can be said that people don't already know. Alabama will go unscathed this year. The only issue with the offense will probably be CNS not allowing the offense to utilize the fire power that they have to full potential, due to the way he likes to manage the game by running the ball. Given the regular season to gell, no one will be able to stop them by the time the SEC championship rolls around.
