Arizona vs. Louisville Free Pick (Mar. 27)

Here is a free pick, preview and predictions article for the 2009 Sweet sixteen round matchup between the Arizona Wildcats and the Louisville Cardinals in the March Madness Tourney…

Arizona (21-13)  vs. Louisville (30-5)

2009 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 Action
Friday March 27, 7:07 PM ET
Indianapolis, IN Lucas Oil Stadium – Midwest Region

Arizona is 11-4 ATS in the last 15 games which includes a 2-0 record in the tournament.  They are also 8-2 in the last 10 non conference matchups.  The over is 11-4 overall with a 5-1 record in non-conference and neutral sites as an underdog. The over is also 5-1-1 vs. Big East opponents. Hill, Budinger and Wise will keep Arizona in this game long enough to cover the spread.

Louisville survived a scare in the 2nd round from Siena. They are 16-7 ATS overall the last 23 games but 0-4 in the non-conference and 0-2 in the tournament. Terrence Williams is the key to winning in the tournament with an average of 18.5 points and 10.5 rebounds a game. Louisville will want to push the tempo to take advantage of their superior depth.

Arizona might be a #12 seed but this is not unfamiliar territory. Coach Rick Pitino will have Louisville ready in this game. It will be close early with Louisville pulling ahead at the end, but not covering. I also look for this game to go over the total.

Last Game Out:

Last game for Arizona (21-13): Win 71-57 vs. Cleveland State
Last game for Louisville (30-5): Win 79-72 vs. Siena
