The Connecticut Huskies come into this key Big East matchup at 11-1, but they are just 1-1 in conference play. They were humbled last week at Pittsburgh in their first road game of the year. Notre Dame is unbeaten at home so far this year, but this will probably be their toughest test yet.
UConn’s Kemba Walker is an absolute star at the point guard spot, Walker has scored at least 20 points in all twelve games the Huskies have played this season. He is the type of player that is getting to his points in one way or another. The Huskies have gotten to where they are this year by playing solid defense and getting on the offensive boards. 
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have played a difficult schedule and they have just two losses. Notre Dame is a bit of a surprise, but they play well together as a team and they do a great job taking care of the basketball. Tim Abromaitis is the best play maker on the team, but this team has several guys who contribute consistently.
The Huskies got off to a great start this year, but I think Notre Dame’s home court advantage will be tough for them to overcome. I think the Fighting Irish will play tough defense and frustrate the Huskies in this one.
