Florida Gators vs. South Carolina Gamecocks betting Lines from Bookmaker.com
The Florida Gators are coming off a big win at home on Saturday night over the Kentucky Wildcats. Billy Donovan’s team needed that win in a big way, and they fought their way to a narrow victory. Now, they must travel South Carolina to take on a team that is slumping, but difficult to beat on their home floor. South Carolina is 10-3 at home, and they would love nothing more than to beat a ranked foe tonight. 
The Gators are at their best when they are playing solid defense. Florida is only allowing 62 points per game this year. Kenny Boynton and Erving Walker are the two guards that lead this team. Boynton has knocked down some big shots, but his overall shooting percentage from the floor is just 35%. Chandler Parsons is a clutch player, but his numbers are down slightly from a year ago. Vernon Macklin and Alex Tyus give the Gators a nice duo down low. The Gators tend to struggle when they fell in love with the three-point shot.
South Carolina has struggled quite a bit of late, but they get a nice boost from their home crowd. The Gamecocks could really use a big win to get their momentum going back in the right direction. This is a young team that makes a lot of mistakes, but they certainly play hard on a consistent basis. Sam Muldrow is shot-blocking machine in the low-post, and Bruce Ellington is a solid scorer in the backcourt. The Gamecocks aren’t very efficient offensively, and they typically don’t take care of the basketball very well.
