The Buckeyes are certainly very good but this doesn’t look like a perfect team to me. Still, if they are going to lose it will be to a good team like Wisconsin not an alsoran having a great night. Ohio State has everything you look for in a team but they sometimes play down to their competition (as indicated by the poor ATS record). It feels like they haven’t been challenged in a while so it will be interesting to see how they respond if things don’t go their way early in Madison. I think to beat these guys you need to have a superlative player that delivers a superlative performance, like a Jimmer Fredette type. The Badgers donn’t have that so I think the Buckeye are likely safe for now. 
Every year the Badgers are very good. Although they are supposedly recruiting only system players they currently have a very high scoring duo in forward Jon Leuer and guard Jordan Taylor. Between the two of them they average close to 40ppg and their individual skills are the reason this Wisconsin team is so dangerous as compared to years past. These two play in the system but can make important winning plays outside of it as well. So far this year Wisconsin is perfect at home including 7-2 ATS. Other numbers that make an upset seem possible, how about the second ranked defense in the nation and the #1 ranked team in the country in free throw shooting. When they go out of conference they really frustrate teams so it will be interesting to see how they handle this talented OSU squad, one that is familiar with them and their system.
