With the sudden struggles of Texas the Kansas Jayhawks look like they will again be Big 12 Champs and a #1 seed in the tournament. They have won 4 in a row since losing at K-State, all in relatively easy fashion. Mizzou didn’t put up much of a fight the last time they faced off, giving up more than 100 points on the road.
Kansas is still trying to figure out their backcourt situation which coupled with the road environment should yield a closer game this time around. Their opponents may want it more but the way the Tigers have been playing an upset of the Jayhawks looks unlikely.
Mizzou has lost their last two games on the road so they will certainly be happy to be coming home to Columbia where they are a perfect 17-0 this season. The two losses exposed what everyone knew all along about this team; they are light on the inside and almost too balanced, lacking that real go to player who can be counted on in the clutch.
5 players average double figures led by Marcus Denmon but he is a little too streaky to be the guy. Still when this team is on its game they really can hang with anyone in the country playing their helter skelter style. A victory over Kansas would prove that to themselves and others.

Free Jayhawks vs Tigers CBB Pick: The Tigers will put on a good show for the home faithful but in the end it won’t be enough to hold off the Jayhawks. They will end the season on a three game losing streak but are a pretty good bet to cover.
