The Terps came out blazing this season but once conference play started it has been a different story. They have dropped 4 out of 7 conference games including at home to these same Seminoles.

Maryland
The were shellacked by Duke over the weekend and are looking to get their mojo back on the road, which is tough.
Lucky for them Florida State has been highly unpredictable too this season.
There is some talent on this Maryland squad. The production isn’t always there but center Alex Len will get a shot in the NBA and he can be a force offensively and defensively.

The Maryland offense struggles though because he and Xavier transfer Dezmine Wells are the only consistent threats.
To win in the top leagues you need good guards and Maryland is weak in that area. They just don’t get enough points out of them.
It is hard to win when your starting point guard averages less than 3 points per game and I think the Terps will find it tough on the road even against offensively challenged FSU. Len is going to have to be a beast as they look for their second conference ATS win in 7 tries.

Florida State
The Seminoles were supposed to build upon their success last year when they took some serious scalps in the ACC. The defense that helped them grind out some of the ugliest wins imaginable has disappeared this season but they are still an inefficient offensive team and that hasn’t been a winning combo.
Right now they are going to have to do some serious work to qualify for any postseason tournament.
When guard Michael Snaer arrived on campus he was highly touted. He is a nice player and super athletic but you can make the argument that he really hasn’t gotten much better since he arrived. he leads the team in scoring but his numbers are actually down from last year.
Okaro White chips in some too but after that you don’t know what you are going to get. Snaer leads in assists but he turns the ball over too much too.
With suspect defense the Noles haven’t carved out much of an advantage at home this season.
Against the number they are an awful 2-6 and don’t give you much confidence.
With both of these teams playing like they have I suggest you take a pass or load up on Tums before sitting down to watch.
