Colorado Buffaloes vs. Arizona Wildcats Free Gambling Prediction & CBB Preview

Buffaloes vs Wildcats CBB Basketball Spread/Handicapping

There is no doubt Arizona has been the most impressive PAC 12 team thus far but Colorado might be second.  They have two losses, one to Kansas (ugly but no shame and a better than you think Wyoming team).

Colorado

Also, they have beaten some pretty good teams in Murray State, Baylor and Colorado State.  It would be a huge statement if they beat Arizona on the road to kick off their conference schedule.

Colorado has a nice backcourt that nobody really talks about.  Sophomores Askia Booker and Spencer Dinwiddie are the top two scorers on the team.  Booker can be a blur but even though he is the smaller of the two Dinwiddie is the floor general.

Up front they are not huge but forward Andre Roberson is one of the best rebounders in the nation.  He is averaging 12 points and 12 rebounds per game.

The Buffaloes are a very good 7-3 ATS this season.  They are a pace team that like to score but they also defend well.  Last year they split with Arizona but lost both games against the number during the regular season. They did beat them in the PAC 12 tournament though, winning as a 3.5 point dog.

I like them as a sizable dog play Thursday night.

Arizona

Obviously a fantastic start for the Wildcats so far.  They are undefeated and have notched some quality wins most notably against ranked Florida and San Diego State teams.  Both were by a point which shows the toughness and character of this team which has a nice mix of young and old.  [ad-6571516]

Now that they have emerged unscathed from that portion of the schedule I think there has to be some thought given to whether they could run the table in a PAC 12 that is a little light this year.

Arizona is a funny team because when you look at them on paper no one player stands out.  Transfer guard Mark Lyons is leading the team in scoring while also learning to play the point and forward Solomon Hill’s numbers are actually slightly down this season.  This is a true team that should continue to get better as the season progresses, especially as their freshmen bigs begin making greater contributions.

The Wildcats are 7-3 ATS after losing two of their past 3.  They are a nice 4-1 ATS at home and will look to give their fans something to cheer about from word go.  This is a very good but not unbeatable team as demonstrated by their close victories to date.

If teams play well and smart they may lose but will likely not be dominated.
